I always enjoy taking my car to Tuffy in Romeoville because of their fast and great service. They never pressure me into getting any other work done but are always willing to answer as many questions as you may have. I'm glad to know that I have a place like this nearby.

The personnel at Tuffy went above and beyond their job responsibilities when my daughter's car needed repair, especially at the time of pick-up with the payment plan.  The use of the loaner car was very helpful as she needed to get to/from work and this is the only car in the family currently.  Both employees were very understanding, helpful, and totally understood the financial situation we were in and really tried every source that they could to help us. We are making Tuffy our place to go for auto repair and have recommended Tuffy to several friends.  Keep up the great and awesome job.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank the staff in Naperville. I brought my van in for them to rebuild the engine after driving through high standing water. My van is my livelihood, no van no money! Tuffy went beyond the call of duty to make sure the repairs were done right and also on time. Thank You guys! I highly recommend!

The owner of this location is pleasant and very informative. The staff is helpful. I have switched service on all three of my vehicles from a shop owned by a friend to the South Plainfield Tuffy because of the excellent people!

This is my first recommendation for a full service shop in the area. I have lived in this area for number of years and wouldn't trust any other person to work on my car other than myself. We found Tim's Tuffy on Rt. 59 in Plainfield/Joliet through a referral a few years ago. We live almost 30 minutes away, but won’t consider going anywhere else for our car maintenance and service. The team is honest, fair and patient. You couldn't ask for more. They never hesitate to explain details and offer any options available. When someone drives past at least fifteen other places to get to your location, you know you're doing something right!

We moved from Iowa after living there for 37 years and it can be difficult to find trustworthy service in a new community.

But the staff at Tuffy's Elgin location were most efficient and helpful as we attempted to get our car to pass the emissions test. Troy and Dennis weren’t satisfied until our car was able pass the inspection. They kept us informed and treated us like our car problems were "theirs."

I took my car into the Orland Park shop for an inspection and oil change. The technician, Al, was great and fast, and he made me feel very comfortable. Usually when I take my car into an auto shop, they try to sell me more stuff, but Al was professional and very friendly.

The service at the Glendale Heights store was awesome. 

They went out of their way to fix our broken brakes super fast. The work was done perfectly and at a very reasonable cost. Thank you so much for making this the best car service experience ever.

The sales person was great. I had a emergency earlier in the week with my vehicle, and at 6:00 PM he told me to bring it in and they would stay to fix it.

He and the technician were exceptional and they worked over time to fix my problem. And when I brought my other vehicle in, they gave me a ride home and even offered to pick me up after work to take me back to pick it up.

Orland Park is in the Chicago area, and you rarely get small town service in the city. I have nothing but high regards for the team and all the work I need done on my vehicles will be done here.

I needed to get my car tested for emissions; however, my check engine light was on. I took it in to the Oswego location and the team found there was a vacuum leak. They fixed it, but about a week later the check engine light came on again.

I took it back into the Oswego location and Owen did another test, free of charge. He found the problem, fixed it, drove my car around to clear the monitors, and even offered to take my car down to the testing facility himself.

I don't know of any other service station that would go above and beyond to help their customers to that extent. They are trustworthy, friendly and thorough, and I would recommend them to my own mother.

I wanted to tell you what a wonderful experience I had at the Plainfield (135th St.) Tuffy Auto Service Center. 

I had purchased a headlight thinking I would be able to install it on my own. I was mistaken! There was a Tuffy down the street from the auto parts store so I pulled in to see if they would install the bulb even though I did not purchase it from them.

The assistant manager had the bulb installed in a matter of minutes and did not charge me for his efforts.

That was my first visit to a Tuffy but I will make sure to use Tuffy for all my car care needs. Thank you very much.

I went to the Tuffy Service Center in Orland Park recently for an oil change and a general diagnostic.

The manager, Dave, took care of me personally. Not only was the oil change done quickly, but he informed me of other maintenance my car will need in the near future, and why these things need to be done to get the optimum efficiency from my vehicle.

Most service centers would just try to get you in and out and sell you unnecessary service, but this manager took the time to explain things.

It was almost closing time when I asked why they weren't closing yet, and he stated he was waiting for a customer to return. That is truly customer service. I would recommend Tuffy without reservation.
